What is eFax and what does it do?
The
OSMOSiS eFax
Software is a stand-alone combined fax and email server, which monitors
a Windows directory for documents to be sent by Fax or Email.
Each
document file must have a corresponding properties file, to determine
the type of communication required (currently fax or email), the
recipient, fax number or email address and the "picture" template
(bitmap) to be used (if required).
The text
from the document file will "overlay" the bitmap specified as the
"template", as if it were outputting to a printer.
If
OSMOSiS eFax finds more than one document in its pending directory, for the
same fax number or email address, these will be consolidated into one
single transmission. This maximises cost and time efficiency.
There
are many reports available to analyse the faxing usage and efficiency.
Separate
folders for Pending, Sent and Failed for faxes and emails is managed by
OSMOSiS eFax. Separate "client" folders are also maintained, containing all
faxes and emails sent to each recipient.
